Stages of Construction

Everything you need to know about the process

Blueprint

Initial Works

We work with clients to determine their requirements and then create a draft tender. If the client already has an approved plan, that's great. Otherwise, we organise clients to sit with the architect. The architectural plans and all reports necessary are generated at this stage to secure the construction certificate.

Slab

This is the first stage of the actual construction process. The Slab is laid on the ground - after a peg-out.

Frame

Once the slab is completed, we get delivery of the frame and trusses. This stage would see the completion of the frame.

Internal Lining

Once the brickwork is completed, we move on to internal lining. At the end of this stage, the internal rough-ins, insulation and gyprocks to walls and ceiling are completed.

Lock-up

This is when the house starts looking good from the inside and outside. At the end of lock-up stage, all the skirting and architraves are in place. All the internal and external doors are in place. The wet areas are tiled.

Practical Completion

This is when the house is ready for handing over to the client. All the kitchen appliances are put in, the AC outdoor unit is put in, the driveway is done, etc. At this stage, we are ready to hand over the keys to the owners.
